About the Author

T. E. Janota is a scientist, tabletop RPG player, and a social misfit. In his youth, he was a young, overthinking oddball who gamed on the Commodore 64 and tore apart electronics for fun in high school while tearing through a constant stream of sci-fi and fantasy books by the likes of Anne McCaffrey, Piers Anthony, Jack Chalker, Alan Dean Foster, Phillip José Farmer, Roger Zelazny, and many others. Doomed to a career in the sciences, his early experiences in the exciting world of cleaning chemicals and detergents failed to result in a laboratory accident to unleash mutant powers. Therefore, he was denied the chance to become a young supervillain. Inspired by the likes of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Lucifer, and the Dresden Files, he writes to ask where is the line between hero and villain, and to question if there is such a line, at all.
