So… what the heck has been happening?
It has been time to figure out how to PROMOTE my books. An auto accident, Car vs Semi, gave me a bit of a timeout, where I nosed around, discord, facebook, and tested out… TikTok.
I have concluded, for good or for ill, that is where my most accessible reader base is. So, I have been working to build up a following, of some sort, make promotion posts that might even be slightly entertaining.

Well, what the H*&C is t about? It is an Urban Fantasy with spice, kink, and humor. Imagine Aladdin or I Dream of Jeannie, where the fortunate man is not constrained by the censors of daytime television or the limitations of the Disney franchise. Leather, chains, ropes, and spankings are fair game, with open door scenes. But nothing is easy, and nothing is free. What’s in store if you take the the trip through the entire series? Mix in Lucifer, Supernatural, Buffy the Vampire Slayer with some Discworld and liberal doses of Fifty Shades of Gray, and you are at least in the general category of what the trip will be like.
The heroes are flawed. Dark histories and painful pasts are waiting to bubble up and be reckoned with. And why, oh, why, is there magical in the world that no one knows about?
I want to ramble on about my stories so much, but I would be spoiling everything. A number of reviewers have been delighted and given good reviews so far.
But… not everyone is a fan. I entered “Born Today” into the 2026 SPFBO contest. I made the random selection cut, and was slotted in, and a reviewer chosen.
“Born Today” did not make the first cut. In fact, I would say it was VIOLENTLY ejected, as a DNF, and labeled “Conceptually Repugnant.” So… the content and the story certainly does work for everyone.
I have faith that a readership exists and that I can connect to it. But it takes time and effort. And that is what I am working on now.
