i finally made it out of the house and explored the local Renfest! I very badly needed to refresh my personal knowledge of these festivities. (Look for it in Volume 4 and beyond!)

I also had a tarot reading done by the lovely and talented Crystal. Recreational only, but absolutely exceeded my expectations and she put up with my rambling like a pro!
I won’t share the details of the reading, but I was laughing several times. It wasn’t the sort of eureka where I had the cards tattle on my deepest secrets. Rather, it was a concise summary of things that I already knew were going on in my life, just put into focus in one place.
The writing process is still going, and I am so glad I got out of the house. I find myself dreading the apparent necessity of having SOME sort of social media presence to give greater exposure to my writing. I know, that’s the current success formula. But I wrote what I wanted to read, and I have faith that it is good enough to connect with the right readers who will appreciate the stories and smile.
